Once a busy transfer port, that supplied materials to factories in nearby Holešovice. Today, hundred years after, it's a place for old ships to rust. It's quiet and calm in here.
Abandoned tine mine Rolava (Sauersack) in Krušné Mountains was build by nazi Germany in 1940. The mine and adjacent processing facility employed hundreds of people from nearby villages and the POW camp in vicinity. Active production siezed woth the end of the war in 1945 and is abandoned since.
In Olomouc, town in east part of the Czech Republic, there is an old military complex. There are small and huge warehouses and a few administrative buildings as well as its' own rail station. But that's all there is, buildings. The rest is gone. There is no furniture, railings for stairs or windows. The valuable tracks from the station are long gone. Anything metal has been either removed or stolen. The only thing that remains, is a bunch of documents in Russian with plans for various machines. The new soviet machines that had probably arrived by a train from the east. The rest is gone.
Aquaduct on border of national park Ceske Svycarsko. It was built in year 1886 to cary watter to nearby factory. It Consists of watter tunnels and an aquaduct over Chribska Kamenice river.
